ADVISOR
Martin is an Advisor with Ramirez Advisors Inter-National, LLC (RAI-N). Ramirez Advisors is a highly specialized firm dedicated to creating and implementing innovative solutions for cross-border business opportunities and improving the ability for goods and people to cross the border.
He excels in managing client relations. Among his responsibilities are the analysis and interpretation of North American trade and border cross-border traffic data. He monitors and analyzes local, state, and federal regulatory and legislative proposals that impact North American trade and U.S.-Mexico relations. He also develops and manages strategic messaging for clients, including social media, website content, and press releases. He has participated in multiple cross-functional local and binational teams to advance cross-border infrastructure projects, binational planning, supply chain resilience, and event coordination. He was the principal developer of a regional online survey used to help a border community define a vision for downtown redevelopment, including the analysis of the data. He is also the producer of the firm’s multiple quarterly newsletters that are released for several clients, helping to ensure a constant flow of information to local, regional and national stakeholders.
Prior to joining RAI-N, he interned with the Office of the President at the Inter-American Dialogue, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank focused on Latin American policy issues. His experience in Washington encouraged him to later seek opportunities that were focused on the U.S.-Mexico relationship at the state and local level, leading him to an internship at the Arizona-Mexico Commission, Office of the Governor of the State of Arizona.
Martin is pursuing his master’s degree in public administration at the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts where he completed extensive coursework in comparative politics, Latin American studies, and economics.
In his free time, he also serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of A Stepping Stone Foundation, an organization dedicated to lifting families out of poverty by offering free, high-quality educational opportunities for children and their parents.
